About Us
mumfection childcare was created after I discovered the lack of affordable, early morning childcare. I wanted to be able to stay home with my young son but I wanted to also contribute to our household income. I thought to myself: "what do I love to do?" The answer was easy, I loved being a mother. With my first aid experience and natural love for enriching the life of my child I figured helping other mothers and families would be the best idea. I could stay at home and continue to love what I do and who I am caring for.
I managed to finally start up my childcare officially once moving into my large place, as of last December; though I did care for children on and off in my apartment when my son was little. I have lots of childcare experience not just from my child but from the many I have cared for. Not only that but I am also currently working towards my ECE, which is continuing to make me a better mother. I genuinely enjoy and love to learn; so I encourage all feedback and advice you may have about your child.

Expectations
No shows will be charged $20.00 for the day if you have NOT called to inform me the evening prior or even the morning of.
Please keep sick kids at home or with another care giver as I will not accept children who are ill so as to not spread the cold to other clients or myself and my children, as well as to prevent closures because I have become ill.
All Saturday shifts will be charged $40.00 for the day regardless of hours, granted there will be more charges if you go over the nine hour mark.
Please make sure that your wipes container and diapers are always full for the day as I do NOT cover wipes/diapers. This doesn't apply to those who provide me wipes/diapers to keep in my home as I will always let you know once your supply have reached the halfway mark.
If you want to discontinue my services for any which reason I ask for at least two weeks notice, of course this goes both ways. Without this notice you will not be eligible to recieve a refund for the time you may have paid for prior. If you have failed to give me two weeks notice there is a $70.00 pentalty charge.
